Kiev, 17 August 2023 — The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Ukraine, in collaboration with the Government of Canada, will enable the Public Health Center of Ukraine (PHC) to operate a comprehensive health center in a proper and timely manner. In an age of digital transformation, where data is key to informed decision-making, this initiative is poised to ensure the availability of accurate patient information. In response to a request from the Cabinet Secretariat of the Minister of Ukraine, UNDP and Canada have worked together to equip this important institution with 50 laptops and licensed software.

The computer equipment is intended for special deployment in areas facing war-related challenges and large influx of patients, as well as in domestic areas affected by hostilities in Chernihiv, Dnipro, Kharkov, Mykolaiv, Sumy Oblast. This computer equipment was procured and delivered by UNDP in Ukraine within the framework of the Reconstruction and Peacebuilding Programme, with financial support from the Government of Canada.
