Toy Drives for Maui Health Families | News, Sports, Jobs

Maui Health will host a toy drive from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday for employees and healthcare workers who have lost their homes or belongings in recent fires across Maui.

Maui Health and the Maui Health Foundation were able to find temporary accommodation for each employee and medical staff who lost their homes.

“Thanks to the kindness of our fellow health workers and the Maui Health Team, we have not only provided shelter, but bedding, clothing, toiletries and essentials for those in need.” said Dr. Vic Ayers, orthopedic surgeon and chief of staff at Maui Health. And now orders for children’s toys are coming.

“We invite the public to participate in toy activities and support fire-affected medical heroes.”

The Maui Health and Medical Staff Office team will accept donations in the driveway at the Maui Memorial Medical Center adjacent to the main lobby entrance. For more information, visit www.mauihealth.org/wildfire.
