Call for Nominations for the 2024 Alumni Award for Education and Healthcare Professionals

Nominations for the College of Education and Health Professions 2024 Alumni Awards are now open.

University faculty, students and friends are invited to nominate outstanding alumni for five different award categories.

The deadline for this year is Sunday, October 15th.

The following awards recognize university graduates for outstanding professional achievements and outstanding achievements in their fields of specialization. Some award titles and descriptions have been updated.

Outstanding Career Award in Education
Awarded to graduates who have demonstrated exceptional professional achievement and outstanding achievements in the field of education.

Outstanding Career Award in Health
Awarded to graduates who have demonstrated exceptional professional achievement and outstanding achievement in the field of health.

Distinguished Service Award
Awarded to graduates who have improved lives by fostering a culture of compassion through civic, community service, and volunteer work. This award is new to him in 2024.

New Leader in Education Award
It is awarded to graduates who have demonstrated outstanding early career performance and are expected to have future professional success in the field of education.

New Leader in Health Award
It is awarded to graduates who have demonstrated outstanding early career performance and are expected to have future professional success in the health field.

Awards are selected by the Alumni Awards Committee and University President Kate Mamiseishvili. Candidates will be kept in the pool for her two years. Winners will be recognized at the March 2024 event. The university’s six undergraduate alumni award winners will also be honored at the event.

Nomination forms are available online. Nominators will be asked to submit a statement explaining why the nominee is deserving of the award and upload any of the following supporting materials: resume or resume, up to two letters of recommendation, nomination Articles, stories, or other materials that talk about the achievements of a person. Materials to assist in the committee selection process. At least one supporting document is required.
